Kangaroo Gastrostomy Feeding Tube With Y-Ports With Safe Enteral Connections
- Feeding tube with a dual port enteral connector engineered to reduce the risk of tubing misconnections
- Addresses 2006 JCAHO Tubing Misconnections Sentinel Event alert
- Feeding ports are incompatible with Luer lock or IV connectors, therefore, reducing the risk of accidental connection or infusion
- A replaceable Y-Port adapter allows for simple Y-port replacement when the port becomes stretched
- Purple color to denote enteral feeding, not IV access
- Medical-grade silicone tubing ensures durability and tube longevity
- Rounded skin disc for external retention with feet for stability
- A graduated shaft allows for easy stoma depth measurement
- A gastric balloon for internal retention seals off the internal stoma to prevent fluid leakage
