Pedi-Padz II Pediatric Multi-Function Electrodes – Designed for use with the ZOLL AED Plus® defibrillator.

AED recognizes when Pedi-Padz II is connected and automatically proceeds with a pediatric ECG and adjusts energy to pediatric levels. Twenty four (24) month shelf-life. One Pair.

Importantly, this device provides a visual guide for rescuers to know exactly where to apply or place each pad on the patient. Specifically for pediatric patients who are 8-years or younger and weigh less than 55 pounds.

Pedi-Padz II AED will provide voice and text prompts to alert the person that is performing the rescue. This particular AED will detect a child’s heartbeat and not adults.

However, this machine has an expiration date of at least 18 months from the manufacturer’s date. It is important to replace the AED for proper continuous function. It is essential to maintain proper information or log as a reminder to check equipment and replace it when it has met its expiration date.
