Filac™ Probe Covers are an easy disposable item. The covers are easy to eject from the probe. Use the button after obtaining the patient’s temperature to eject the probe cover. A nurse can place the used probe cover in the waste receptacle and eject. It is that simple. The Disposable Probe Cover design is for the 3000 EZ and 3000 AD Electronic Oral Thermometer probe.

Probe Covers have a smooth non-latex surface. Use probe covers for oral temperature reading. However, a nurse can perform an axillary temperature reading for an accurate temperature. Patients receive a fast reading from their physician or medical practitioner. Because the covers are not only a sanitary barrier but they also contribute to a maximum of ±0.1°C towards the accuracy of a temperature reading.

Each disposable tip goes through a strict quality control testing. Before probe covers are sold they are tested for  transmissivity, ejection force and firm attachment to the probe. This is also a single-use item. Each disposable probe cover is discarded after patient use. Never reuse, always replace.
