Blood Collection Safety Tube Holders are used to collect blood safely without contamination. They create a secure vacuum seal inside the tube. BD Vacutainer is a One Use Holder. 

These holders are compatible with the entire BD Vacutainer® System of Blood Collection products.  The tubes are latex-free single-use holders. It also helps our customers comply with OSHA Safety. This also includes the Health Information Bulletin (SHIB) regarding the Disposable of Contaminated Needles and Blood Tube Holders.

Used by phlebotomists, paramedical examiners, and nurses when performing phlebotomy. Importantly, for the safety of the patient and phlebotomist. The BD Vacutainer tube is a closed system for health and safety.

BD Vacutainer® Safety-Lok™ Blood Collection Sets,  Push Button Blood Collection Sets and the  Multiple Sample Luer Adapters are compatible with BD Vacutainer Collection Tubes. In addition to this BD Tube is clear, non-sterile, and is a standard size for all blood draws.

Obviously, this is a necessity when performing blood draws.
