Alginate Rope Dressing Calcium Curasorb Sterile
- Designed to interact with sodium in wound to create ionic exchange and help jump start epithelialization process, absorb exudate from wound and create a protective cushioning gel and optimal moist healing environment
- Protective gel binds exudate and help prevent skin maceration, can be used on infected wound, absorbs approximately 20 times its weight in exudate
- Unique composition and weaving pattern help provide a simplified one piece removal, easy and painless to remove with minimal tissue trauma
- Indication include deep tunneling wound, heavy to moderate exudating wound, venous diabetic arterial pressure ulcer, donor site, second degree burn, abrasion laceration skin tear
