SSEBW06108  SILVERSEAL ELASTIC BURN WRAP, 6″ X 108″

Designed for placement directly on the burn. Provides a topical antimicrobial barrier that reduces the bacteria and fungi counts on the wound surface within 2-4 millimeters of the burn surface. Can be left in place for up to seven days depending on the amount of drainage and necrotic tissue present. Composed of Knitted fabrics that are flexible, minimally adhering and antimicrobial. The knitted fabric is 100% covered with a thin coat of pure metallic silver. The wraps are cut in rolls of large sizes allowing for multiple uses over hard-to-dress areas and large body surface areas, while also providing slight compression when needed. Indicated for use as an antimicrobial barrier over 1st and 2nd degree burns, full and partial thickness wounds as well as graft and donor sites.
