With its ability to automatically capture episodes of Atrial Fibrillation (AF), tachycardia and bradycardia, the King of Hearts Express AF Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder is the ideal tool for managing patients with these conditions*. The unique benefits provided by the device may include early diagnosis and intervention, improved patient care and follow-up, and an increased ability to document breakthrough episodes.
Along with being able to record patient-activated events, like traditional event recorders, the King of Hearts Express+ Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder also has the capability to catch asymptomatic events with its unique Tachycardia and Bradycardia auto-triggers*. Each auto-trigger is programmable to meet the patient’s specific needs.
The King of Hearts Express Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder is a pager-sized, looping memory ECG recorder. It is designed to be worn continuously by patients who experience difficult-to-diagnose symptoms such as dizziness and palpitations, which may suggest a cardiac arrhythmia. The device stores up to five minutes of ECG activity that can be downloaded over the telephone.
The Cordigital® MicroLR long term looping memory Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder is designed to increase diagnostic yield for transient symptoms suggestive of a cardiac arrhythmia. The MicroLR recorder can be programmed to store up to six events totaling 522 seconds of ECG before it is necessary to transmit the information. When convenient, the patient can send the stored ECGs by telephone, from anywhere in the world, directly to a compatible receiver located in the hospital or physician's office.
The Cordigital® MicroER Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder is ideal for patients who experience transient symptoms suggestive of a cardiac arrhythmia, including shortness of breath, dizziness and palpitations. At the onset of symptoms, the patient holds the MicroER recorder against his or her chest and presses the record button. The device records and stores up to 32 seconds of real-time ECG in solid-state memory. It can store up to six such events before it is necessary to transmit the information.
*Although the algorithms are very sophisticated, there is no guarantee that the Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder will detect arrhythmia(s), nor is there any guarantee that the transition to the arrhythmia(s) will be successfully recorded in all auto-triggered events by the Instromedix Cardiac Event Recorder.
